Download Key II and Mobile Card Reader
The VDO Download Key II and Mobile Card Reader is an ideal transport medium for downloading and archiving mass memory data from digital tachographs.
Offering maximum convenience and ease of use, it weighs less than 50 grams and is no bigger than a mobile phone. The Download Key II has 2 interfaces: on one side there is a 6 pin serial interface, which is compatible with all digital Tachographs, and on the other side it features a USB 2.0 high-speed interface for transferring data quickly and reliably to a PC. This can then be transferred to TIS-Web or TIS Office for analysis and archiving purposes.
The Download Key II does not require any power supply and LED's indicate it's memory capacity, operating status or if an error has occurred.
Also an acoustic signal indicates when a download has been completed. It is pre-programmed to download since the last download and to offer maximum flexibility the Download Key II also comes with simple to use integrated software that allows you to select different configurations to suit your own transport operation (for example to download a driver card via the Digital Tachograph or download the previous 56 days).
A driver card can also be downloaded by connecting the Download Key II to the Mobile Card Reader for direct card downloads.
The Download Key II has storage capacity for approx. 1500 two monthly downloads.
The VDO Mobile Card Reader in conjunction with the Download Key II (or TIS-Compact II key) provides a flexible and secure way of downloading driver card data at all times without the requirement of a Company Card. The data transfer starts automatically once the driver card is inserted and the operating button is switched on. The Mobile Card Reader can be used with the batteries supplied or 6V power connection.
